Since I brought Denis home (at 10 weeks) nearly 7 years ago, I have whispered to him. As he was a feral he needed a lot of reassurance and calming and I used to whisper to him, telling him how much I loved him, how beautiful he was and little things like that. He has always watched my mouth and then took to patting it gently with his paw while I whispered to him.
Ever since, when I come home from work, get up in the morning or he comes in from the garden he cries for me, then leads me to the spare room (basically his bedroom :roll: ) checking I am behind him and waiting if I'm not and he 'begs' for a cuddle. We lie on the bed, he has his tummy tickled and I whisper to him while he watches my mouth and pounds away.
Considering he was feral and very hissy, spitty, jumpy and always biting he has turned into a real cuddle bug and a mummies boy ...............and I wouldnt have him any other way :D
