His Kennel name is Memetuka Kiraka which is Swahili for spot of colour. You will see why from his pictures.

They look fierce on the pictures but this is how Basenjis play :shock:

He was a lot more wary of Tom and Jerry but i'm sure we will need the spray bottle before long.

Hope everything settles very soon. I always feel a bit sorry for a kitten or a puppy leaving their mum and litter mates, it must be so scary.

I must admit i felt a bit tearful at taking him away from his mum and siblings so i know just what you mean Angie.
He's now fast asleep on my knee snoring, Malaika has just given him a quick poke to try and wake him up. She thinks he's her new toy.

Yes i knew people may think that Eileen. Basenjis are very physical when they play. Presently he is snoring in his crate, Malaika has poked him several times through the bars to try and wake him up.
We did a video when they met the Cats but as yet haven't taken any pics.
Tom is sprawled asleep on the floor and Jerry in the kitchen.
Kwame is quite respectful at the moment, especialy of Jerry, it's as if he sensed danger.

Gorgeous baby! Glad he has settled so well. Boxer puppies are very bouncy as well! Great fun you will have :) The cats dont sound too frazzled, hope it stays that way

Basenji play looks to be a lot like Stafford play only not as rough.
Lovely pup I assume the spot of colour is the reason for his name.
Looks to have been a good meeting all round. Give it another few weeks and instead of poking the pup through the bars she will be pushing him into the cage and shutting the door............;)
