Hubby received a rather frantic phone call from a friend of his earlier. He had been looking out his bedroom window when he saw some kids throwing sticks and stones at something on the opposite field. So he went roaring out thinking it was a kitten and it turned out to be a ferret!!!!

An absolutely beautiful cream boy, the friendliest I have ever come across in my life. His friend says he came running to him as soon as he saw him. When we got there I got them to put some cat biscuits in the box beside him and bless his wee paws, he stuck his head out from the pile of clothes they had given him to bury in and tried to eat and sleep at the same time . So he is now in Walters old home (and oh how I wish that this had been last week) for the time being until we can try to find out if he is an escapee. He is plump and healthy, claws are a nice length and sooooo friendly, so hopefully somebody is missing him. If not I will find him a nice home somewhere :)

Awwww! So glad you found him. What an adventure he's been on. Hoping you find his owners soon, and that it was a simple mistake which lead to him escaping.

Well done for rescuing George-pity you couldnt have got hold of the little ***** who were throwing stones at him -not that that would have done any good,I suppose as they would have had you for assault!!!
What happened to the days when you got a clip round the ear from neighbours ,or the local bobby if they caught you doing something wrong?
Showing my age now-just that it makes me really mad that some kids nowadays have no respect for animals(or humans for that matter)

Hugs to George-a very lucky boy
