Here are a few pics of the litter and mum we are getting our pup from.
We will be getting one of the males once the breeder has picked the best show dog. The males are the ones with unbroken blazes.
few hours old

Puppy gorgeousness! I've still never 'met' a Basenji but after seeing the gorgeous Malaika and Maya over on Dogsey, I'm really fascinated about them as a breed.

I agree I find them fascinating as well. Very interesting dogs and a breed I think I could live with......easily.

Lovely pups do you favour one? and have you chosen a name yet?

We like the one with the blaze that is wider at the top but wouldn't be too upset if we got the other little guy. It's just that we have tried to guess and think the breeder will go for the other.
He is going to be called Kwame, Swahili for born on a Saturday.

Now I was taken by the lad with the narrower blaze. I wonder if a Basenji would like a Stafford sister.
