Can a babies travel cot be used for kittens as they begin to get more mobile? I've heard it can but is it true? And if so what should I do to make it safe?

I Would Make Sure It Is Low To The Floor And The Sides Are Closed Up Were They Can Not Get Hung Up. And Mama Can Jump In To Feed. You Have To Be So Carfull Kittens Are So Fragile.
