OK, so it's nothing compared with the frozen north of Scotland and a few other places, but here are a few images of what it's like outside - and the reason why I've not attempted to get to work (besides the buses being off!!!)

Woah....good job no one was sitting in the chairs at the time..............you could build a fab snowman I think.

Ragrding work its not the getting there its the getting home.

Great photos - we've not had that much snow .... yet! Up to 8 inches promised Hampshire/West Sussex tonight or tomorrow. Maybe not on the coast ............... fingers crossed.

thank goodness we only had a few inches, although i wouldnt mind not being able to get to work.....

Aaaaugh! Picturesque, but makes life very very difficult! Is a thaw in the future? Like, soon!!?

Given it's apparently still snowing, or something... Well, there Was snow, can't see too well out, too dark... Closest will be the weekend I think - and I heard we were due more then as well, so I just don't know!!!

Nice to look at................We ahve at least 12-14 inches and its still falling!!!

Blimey, haven't seen snow like that in Scotland since I was a child :) I remember a really bad winter in the early 80's. We had just moved to Cumbernauld, and we had snow drifts over my head. I must have been about 10, and thought it was wonderful. I think that is where my love of snow came from :lol:
