I've been trying to ignore it to my best ability but for about the last week I've had terrible sharp abdominal pain. Shooting pains that paralyze me. It does not seem intestinal. I get the feeling more like a reproductive organ type thing or maybe even the bladder. My belly button down has been tender and some cramping and now tonight (it's 11pm here) the pain is moving upwards and a burning hot pain above my belly button. Nothing has helped.
Going to call the doc in the AM and see if I can get seen today and have K bring me. I'd really like to avoid the ER, I don't think it's an emergency but it really is definitely painful so cross fingers for me please that it's something simple. Will let you all know..

Thanks, everyone. Called my regular doctor, she can't see me till Friday AM so I guess I will try and wait and go to an urgent care if need to before then..?

*edit*--just left msg with the womens clinic to see if they could see me sooner.

yes, that's what i fear may be having a complication:shock:
women's clinic could see me tomorrow but wanted outrageous fees so will just wait till friday evening to see regular doctor.
on a good point it hasn't been too bad today, oddly.

I worry that the infection or whatever is causing the pain may be spreading... is it wise to wait till Friday? Could you go to the nearest ER?

i could, i just feel badly to go to the ER and also hate the idea of how high the bill might be.
the pain has subsided oddly enough so i am okay for now. i'll still go to the appt. though as i haven't seen her in ages anyhow and probably good to just check all systems. i just know if i cancel the pain would come back, my luck.
