Mum has started to call Dylan "cuckoo brain" because Dylan's taken to doing silly things.

He's started to roll around seeming to want to fall down the stairs

Last night though he was really silly  I was just waiting for the computer to shut down, happened to look over to where I thought Dylan was sleeping only to see him trying to catch his tail - he was twitching his tail about while lying down, kept looking round at his tail and kept smacking it to tell it to stay still    he did not seem to realise he was moving his own tail

Mum thinks he's got autism

Not sure if cats can get autism - just going to google it.

Why Dylan acts like that I don't know - he wasn't playing, he was getting annoyed about the fact his tail was moving

Do you really think he may have some disability or damage RCR?

I don't know, thinking of mentioning Dylan's daftness to the vet when he goes in.

Edit: just googled brain damage in cats and don't think he's brain damaged, searched for mental disability in cats and that was no help whatsoever.

Edit: (again) - just posted it on yahoo answers, so far not had anything constructive.
