Following on from dandysmom's "My other cat" thread ......

Here are some of my "other cats" - they are all quite small and grouped together for their photo ...

This little chap lives on the top of my dresser and peeps over the edge ...

This chap weighs a lot and is meant to be an outdoor ornament. He is the biggest of the lot ...

Please feel free to add photos of your "other cats" .......

Hmmm... I think I have 3 'other cats' unless you count cats-as-part-of-an-ornament where it becomes at least 4... *shrugs*

Oh I do like those, Angie, especially the last two!

This is Rameses. He's life sized; I put him in the hall when I first got him to see how Sultan would react... very funny, he bushed up, flattened his ears and started approaching... realized it wasn't a real cat in his house, gave me a look that would curdle milk and ignored it afterwards.

I didn't notice it needed dusting until the flash made it obvious ... please ignore!!

The small one in the foreground is a gift one of my online friends from Canada sent me. The bigger one in the background is passed down from K's grandmother.

The last one, promise! Bast, she's about 1 foot tall; got her from a catalogue years ago.

I never set out to collect kitty things, but people just give them to me because they know I love cats!

In the first photo, you can probably see a little white long haired cat that really is a candle but I can't bear the idea of lighting it and watching the cat melt away! Daft eh?

I am really enjoying seeing other peoples' "other cats". Do keep them coming!

I do believe it's ceramic. I'm hesitant to handle it as his grandmother was quite an artist and I'm not sure if she designed it herself or if it was just a special keepsake of hers. K says he thinks it's supposed to be a Siamese.

Whatever, it's a lovely cat statue, and a link to the past as it's in the family.

Here are a few of mine,
Firstly a collection of Winstanley cats, these have special glass eyes that appear to look at you wherever you are in the room

Next are a pair of Flap Cats, one has bird wings and one has Bats wings, brought back from a holiday in Tenby

Two glass cats, one is a candle holder, thay are filled with Pebbles. I saw these in a shop in Kefalonia and thought "How tacky ", the next year i saw they were still for sale and decided i realy liked themhttp://i999.photobucket.com/albums/af118/thunderbird8588/Miscellanious/P1060842.jpg

The last Cat i found on a local flea market

Hi Shelley - what a great collection! I particularly like the Flap Cats - aren't they amazing, love their expressions and also like the wooden flea market purchase. You certainly have the "eye"!

What an interesting collection, Shelley! Thanks for sharing those; I particularly like the Winstanley ones with the amazing eyes. Flora came from a flea market too.
