We have some new animals joining the family soon- 4 pigs who are going to be PTS if not saved, they are at least 6 year old large pet pigs who are a family unit. We do have an area suitable and can cobble together a shelter for them, but if anybody local sees or knows of suitable accomadation free or cheap, could you please let us know. They have to be moved very soon and anything we can afford to buy has a long wait for delivery.
I know you must think I'm mad but I could not bare the thought of them being sent for slaughter- which was their other option. They are a mother, 2 daughters and a neutered son.
