In the process of having our conservatory roof insulated, as its too cold to use in the winter....

It was plastered today and is being painted on Monday....

oh wow, I didn't know you could do that! Will it not cut down on the amount of sunlight you will get though Moli?

Oh, that's much bigger than I thought it was. What a lovely place to sit in the colder weather now that it's insulated; I know the cats must love it .....
Makes it almost like a proper room rather than a conservatory. Still, if it makes it a usable space in all seasons I guess the slight loss of light is a small price to pay.
Like Alex I did not know oyu could do that......................very very interesting a friend of mine does not use their conservatory at times same reason....I will let them know this is possible I wonder if it reduces the sound of the rain on the roof too...is yours glass Pat?

The roof is sheets of plastic Kazz....
We will not loose much in the way of sunlight, its a huge room...
It does stop the rain noise too.....

It was painted today and looks really good...Must say its a lot warmer too.....
