I'm registered with a dating site and I've got four who I'm interested in and have been talking to.

The first one lives in Leamington Spa and a few years older than me.
The second one lives in Hinckley and is four years older than me.
The third one lives in Lincoln and is a year older than me.
The fourth one lives in Northampton and has been saying about meeting but I've not heard anything for over a week.

I'll have to finish telling you later about them.

(I'm on a library computer at the moment by the way so will have to disappear in a mo)

RCR - I can't really advise you about this. I've never done any dating in that way. I am sure that whatever/whoever you decide to meet, you will be careful about your personal safety and meet in a public place.

I echo what Angie said, be cautious, not everyone is who he says he is .....

Agree here too. Also make sure someone knows where you are going and when you'll be home.

It might be an idea if you have a mobile to ask someone to call you about 30 mins after you meet, then if you are unsure you can fake an emergency and leave.

Please be very careful.

Maybe get to know them a bit better first over the internet, then phone. Like Eileen and angie have said if you do decide to meet someone, make sure it's a public place, tell someone you are going and how long you will be. I wouldn't give them my address untill you know them quite well.
That being said it's probably no more risky then meeting someone at an club etc, after all they are complete strangers at first.
Good luck i hope you find someone nice.

CM had an brilliant suggestion about having a friend phone you a bit into the date!! Good luck here too.

Leamington Spa (as I'm calling him on here for convenience) likes cats, so he says. The other three I don't know about (can't remember, not heard anything from them for a few days)

There's another one in London as well.

If I do meet anyone I'm going to arrange to meet somewhere like the bus station in daytime or somewhere really busy (if they don't look like their photo on the site I'll subtly disappear away from the meeting place)

Personally, I wouldn't trust any man who said he didn't like animals. Or woman for that matter, with the exception of anyone who has a phobia that they can't help.

(or actually who said they didn't like chocolate, but that's another story.)

I won't be able to judge by Dylan's reaction to them, Dylan will cry to have a snuggle with an orc from lord of the rings I'm telling you!

I am not joking, I have known Dylan to approach people in the street for a tummy rub
