Following on Tink's post about her wish list, here's pics of mine enjoying theirs. Sorry they didn't copy very well. But you can see how Dandy and Patches were enjoying it.

Lovely pictures. Dandy and Patches certainly seem to rule all they can survey from the window. I do think that is such a good idea Eileen. I shall see if I can track a similar sort of product this side of the pond!

Hope you can find one. They are very simple to put up: two L shaped metal pieces on one end that hook over the window sill and the brace holds it against the wall. I never got the cover on it properly, as you can see it's sagging on the front. Mine lasted for years. well used! :D

First one I have found - http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/cat_beds_baskets/window_seats/94314

There do seem to be a lot of cat windowsill MATS, but not the same thing at all! I'll keep on looking.

aww what great pictures, i really can't wait to get mine so i can use mine at their favorite window in the bedroom..they're always trying to fit in there all at once and sidling up next to each other to watch the birds and lay in the sun, it'll be so nice to have an extension.
Angie, maybe try searching "kitty sill"?..

Yes, Mags, that's exactly what they look like. that one has two braces and a neater cover than mine (the latter my fault!). Moli if you have a window with a sill, they just hook onto it, no nails, screws, etc. required ; easily removed.

Well, considering they'll not be going out until they are spayed which will be January '11 it would be nice for them to have a perch or two.

I'm looking at climbing frames/trees just now.

Oh Lola would love something like this, I might give it a go, she sleeps on the windowsills but always falls off... so maybe this will give her more space! :-)
