When they need retail therapy, some women buy shoes... I buy house plants!! Got three nice new little ones to brighten things up as Autumn and the darker and colder days are coming. They're small now, have been repotted and hopefully will soon resemble their catalogue pics. :D

Hope the grow on well for you. Had to google the weeping blue ginger - love it. Hope it flowers.

It has one little flowering shoot now; hopefully more soon; it's supposed to be a prolific bloomer. And I do love blue flowers.

Me too - my garden is mainly blues, lilacs, pinks and creams.

I hope it does well. Remember the blue impatiens I was so anxious to have last season? It was striking wen young but became very leggy and unattractive as it matured, so didn't bother over wintering it. :( Win some, lose some.

i don't know much about plants but the thornless crown of thorns really appeals to me :D

I didn't know there was a thornless variety! I had the thorny one for years: a friend's mother died and as he wasn't a plant person, gave me hers; it was huge. But eventually needed repotting, and that is almost impossible for a person to do alone, the plant is so spiny! So it eventually died after about 10 years :(. The little pinkish flowers are the same on this one. Hope it does well.

I love the weeping Blue Ginger, Eileen. I've never heard of it before.

I hope they do really well. The blue ginger appeals to me too.
