Some of you may remember my auntie had a mum and kitten feral/semi feral take up residence in her garden? Well the CPL came out and caught mum, and found another 4 baby kittens when looking for the kitten! So mum is in foster care and will be coming home (to live with my auntie) when the kittens have left, and baby is home now, she has been spayed and the cut the tip of one of her ears to show she had been, never heard of that before!

So mum is now Heidi and baby is Polly, here are a few pics of Polly from today, she is a lot tamer than I expected and she will make a lovely pet no problems! So hoping mum is only semi feral but we will find out soon enough.

So please welcome Polly :-D

What a stunning wide-eyed little poppet! She's beautifully marked.

Random, ear-notching is common here for trap/neuter/release programs.

LOVELY! They cut ear tips so should they be trapping in future, they will know that one has been neutered and can release straight away.

She is so pretty. Shame about the ear but I suppose it is quicker and more easy to spot than a tattoo.

Angie, if it's anything like what the TNR do here, it's just a small v-shaped notch in the ear, not disfiguring at all. No worse than the ears of some old battle-scarred toms. It makes it easy for those checking a feral colony to spot those who have been neutered already.

Thanks guys she is a poppet, I will be sure to get some pics of mum too when she comes home. Mum is similarly coloured and so are the other babies she had so i'm told.

Everyone is so happy it worked out, she's a lovely wee thing and my uncle is besotted with her lol! This is the man who used chase cats from his garden!

The tip of her ear has been completely cut off Eileen, if you look in the last pic you can see especially.

I stand corrected; I did miss that the first time around. Seems a bit excessive to me ...

Such lovely colour and markings on Polly. She and her mum are lucky girls. Tis a pity about the eartip though. Although it's for a good reason it could be less drastic :?
