I once had some kittens
That all had white mittens
I didn’t like being a mum
So the people I lived with sold me for a small sum
Last year I lost my best kitty cat friend
He was so young when his time came to an end
My mam saw my pain I went off my food I started to pine
Daddy got me a new kitten so my love could shine
Cleaning his ears cuddling up all snug
On our tartan rug
Last week two new kittens came stay
I like to sit and watch them play
The thing I like the most is my food
but I am getting all fat and all bumpy
There are times when I can be grumpy
And don’t like to be pounced on
I tell them off until they are gone
But I know my mam loves me
Just the way I am
