It will be fine at last she will be able to see us rather than us bellowing at her "Mom...Nan,......over here...No here" :) Gotta hide Dad though...........mind you no idea how bad her eyesight is.......she can see with glasses for all we know they can't see each other. And only locate each other from the clicks of their hearing aids....... ;)

I do hope all goes well for your mom. Have you thought of getting your poor dad a brown paper bag????

Been there, done that, she'll be just fine and it's incredible how much better your sight is ... back to 20-20! Trouble is, easier to see the dust bunnies you couldn't before.......

So, how did it go, Kazz? Is she home now? Remember, no heavy lifting or bending down!

Eileen that is now the family mantra no heavy lifting or bending down....;) she is fine actually says her eye is a little bruised that she can feel but nothign external to see a slight bit of bloodshot in her eye but she tells us it seems clearer already...so fingers crossed. Checkup two weeks then other eye in 2 months. Went into hospital at 8 operated on at 8.30 and out and home by 10.15:-D

It astounded me what a quick and painless operation it is; nothing as bad as I'd feared. I'm so pleased it went well, Kazz.

Amazing how often you drop things, and need to bend over for various reasons: never realized that until I had the op!!
