In the above pictures we had two cakes - as my mum cannot eat chocolate (it makes her very ill) our cake was made of filo pastry, cream, chocolate and was to die for. The chef made a seperate cake for my mum without the chocolate (the one on the left of the photo - and it was massive!!! LOL)

Angie - no connections - I found details of the villa on the website and it had such good reviews and the owner Marco is such a good wedding planner.

Thanks everybody - it was such a perfect week - everybody got on so well, we both have fantastic families and we all didn't want to leave. It seems like ages since we were there!!

I can say we were well and truely spoilt - cherries and Italian champagne when we arrived and strawberries and Moet champagne for our wedding night. There were too many little touches the wedding planner did to list really, the food from the caters was amazing, we had an 8 course meal that was out of this world - never tasted food as good.
