Well done to you both!!

What did she have to do for it? Mine did the KC good citizens many moons ago - it is such a good thing as there is loads of variety.

She looks very proud.

Thanks CM, we are realy proud of her as they are a difficult breed to train.
She has to be able to sit, down, stand, stay for 10 seconds in one position, recall, walk in a controlled manner, socialise with an unknown dog, person, play with a toy and give it up, leave. Owners have to demonstrate knowledge about the legalities of dog ownership and how to provide appropriate care for their Dog.
We will be starting the Bronze award next.

What a clever girl then. I had heard Basenji's didn't train too easily so all the better that she has achieved that.

Good luck with the Bronze.

Yes i agree Kazz, it's not easy.
I'm a bit worried now as someone told me you can't use treats on the Bronze
Malaikas the type of girl who won't do anything for nothing, to please us is not enough
Couldn't believe the trainer yesterday when she told us she had Basenjis board with her and they had no personalities.
I'm sure Malaika will change her mind.
It would be great if you went for Gold with Sal.

The bronze was not a lot different to the puppy foundation.....that I recall. Can't remember if you can use treats or not.....such a long while ago. But you are doing good I bet you could do the bronze easy peasy.............. Hounds and Terriers rule who needs a Border Collie............ ;)
