Rayne's friend must look huge to her :D

What sort of terrier is the large one, Elaine?

That's Dale the Airdale terrier. He can be quite a handful, not in a nasty way just strong and excitable. Rayne was a bit frightened by him at first but quickly got over that, then he realised who the boss really was, and it wasnt me:roll:  .

Very sweet photos - and why wouldn't that little girl be the boss??? She's got "Boss" written all over her face.

Now - question from a non-doggy person here - why does Dale wear that strap over his muzzle? Is it to stop him biting?

Dale wears a head harness because he is a very strong and powerful dog, the head harness helps give more control over him. He's a big soft lump but gets very excited when meeting other dogs or if some one talks to him.

I walk my neighbours border terriers a couple of times a week- they are great wee characters and certainly don't seem to realise they are small.:D
