Very nice - It ticks lots of my boxes.

And perfect for both me and G. Decor is a bit dated and not our taste but that's just superficial and can always be sorted along the way. G would have a garage with plenty of room for all his tools etc. Plenty of room for animals and a private wood to walk in.
:D
Now all we need is £300,000:?

I could loan you £20 - no interest!

It's lovely Elaine - only 2 bedrooms though, so you couldn't really do B&B. Is it near other properties? Looks very private from the picture.

Elaine, that's got some lovely land around it - could you cope with quiet, country living though?

OK - here's my current choice. Strange you post this Karen because I was browsing the listed buildings owners club property sales website earlier today.

For those that know the A4 into London, there is a row of stunning houses just past Hammersmith with the most amazing artists' studios 'built in' as it were. When my Dad first came to London after the war, he rubbed shoulders with painters one of whom lived in one of these properties.

Anyways - here are the details of one which is currently for sale, scroll down to the bottom of the link for a detailed illustration of the house - stunning!

Love that studio Yola! Stunning, though I prefer the outside to inside. I do like Deco.

Not for me Yola but gorgeous..........but there again I do not have an artistic bone in my body.......I am still searching for a house to show you .

But you can loose hours on house selling sites...excellent for those under house arrest. ;)

Both lovely Kazz, but I particularly like the gardens of the second one!
I'd love somewhere with a few acres for a donkey, some goats, maybe an alpaca, oh and some sheep!

Oh what a great idea Kazz!!!! I love looking at properties and could waste lots of time on right move. Very nice properties Kazz and CM.

I love the New Forest, always have, partly due to family links and spending lots of time there, particularly as a child. I feel this is 'home' Love these properties.

Wow those are superb Kim, I adore the first one.....but very nice of you to include a studio for me to stay..... ;)

Seriously I am going to broaden my search today.....but in reality can't see me moving far from Birmingham......family and all that plus I have discovered I am a townie not a county person (nice for holidays) but to have to take a torch into the garden is not for me..... I need street lights.....

CM - I love that white house, lovely original exterior by the looks of it. Kim, the 2nd property there (Hungerford) is beautiful - nice balance of character with proportion!
