Well, as the title suggests, I've had another secret. It has been so hard not to mention it and I haven't been around much due to feeling pretty lousy but it's all totally worth it!
I had my ultrasound this morning and would like you all to meet our little 'shrimp'! Due in November :-D

OMG LIZ!!!!!

That is wonderful news, I'm so delighted for you and your OH. Imogen and Darcy had better look out once the shrimp starts crawling ;)

Hopefully you'll be getting close to the end of the 'feeling rotten' bit and will feel energized soon . . . enjoy shopping for prams :D

Thank you all! I'm finally letting myself get excited about it all today! The 'all-day sickness' has started to lessen now although some things are still off limits and very very tired after work these days :D At least Darcy has given me some practice at getting up in the night!

Glad to know the 'shrimp' is getting to be a lobster  20 weeks already, I know not for you maybe but this will fly. Hope you enjoy being pregnant, I'm here for any advice that I can help you with. I may be retired now but I'm always going to be a midwife :D

Feeling a lot better these days, still very tired a lot of the time though-can't manage my normal 45 hr weeks anymore!
Baby is really moving around now which is a very odd feeling, lovely too though!
As for names, we have a 'shortlist' but will probably wait until we see him or her before finally deciding.
PP-thank you so much for that, my mum is a health visitor but would be great to have a midwife's advice too ;)

S/he looks like they're blowing bubbles!! Half way there Liz . . . you're doing great!

Ultrasounds are amazing - they really are. I blew the bank a bit with Sebi and had a 3D scan done at about 24 weeks because the hospital ones weren't very distinct. It's made a lovely memento and something to show his girlfriends when he's older ;)

how lovely :D I adore seeing scan pics, and I agree with Yola that it looks like baby is blowing bubbles (and that was actually the nickname we gave my youngest when I was carrying her lol)
