We have watched these babies grow up (I think there is three of them) Dad is black and white.

Yes it certainly is, although Martin keeps laughing at the very large baby and we are sure the dad is getting thinner keeping running around the garden feeding the babies.

Oh - how sweet is that? Unusual colour for Dad isn't it. We had one years ago that had one of the long tail feathers white - he was around for about three years but we've not seen him since last summer.

Oh how sweet. I've finally just started to watch birds after reading a few books about them and they really are fascinating.
