Hiya,
Just wondered if anyone can give some good advise on dealing with Jazz's clumps of matted hair!! Any good combs out there or routines to prevent it from repeatably occurring. I have been told to not attempt to cut them out, but they can become impossibly knotted at times!
Whats your thoughts? :)

Hi Toby - sorry not to be able to offer any help at all, I have only ever been owned by short-haired cats!
Hi Toby, I'm a short-haired cat owner too so have no hands-on experience I'm afraid.:)
However, here are a few links to threads where we have discussed this subject previously, I hope they will be of some help to you ......

We also have some long haired cat owners here who will hopefully be along to share their experiences of grooming with you.
