First Anniversary of Kizzy's Adoption

A year ago today it was Easter Sunday and OH, MIL and I travelled up from the South Coast to Birmingham to pick Kizzy up from her fosterer. The date on the adoption papers is 12/04 - tomorrow, but I will always remember that very special Easter Sunday 2009.

I couldn't have imagined that day what joy and love she would bring into our lives, and every day I thank Smudgley for trusting me to care for her and Kazz for visiting to make sure she was the cat for us! Thanks girls!

These pictures were taken yesterday when we sat outside in the sun.

I am afraid to say not really Eileen. She's a funny bunny with food and really will only eat her digestive comfort biccies. She doesn't like human food at all - which reminds me of another cat somewhere ;) - I will get her a new catnip mouse next time I go to P@H as her old one which looks more like a rat has run out of catnip ooomph and has lost its tail!

I do have catnip seedlings popping up which she will definitely enjoy!

LOL, tell her the "other cat" has mellowed with age and now considers ham, chicken and prawns as edible. Still no cheese, though; it's difficult when you want to spoil a cat with a treat and they are SO PICKY! :roll:
