For dear old Toby Williams.
He began to vommit and collapsed this morning while on our walk. I was hysterical, didnt know how I was gonna get him home. Fortunately I have very good friends, like Trick, who told me to calm the hell down and came to help me. We got him home and he was rushed to the vets.
It looks like something is jarring the base of his spine, the pain and the shock was the cause of the sudden vommiting and collapse. He has been given pain relief and anti inflamatories, he has to be monitored over the next 4 days and has to have complete rest.
Please keep him in your thoughts for a full recovery xxx

Sorry folks, have been away this weekend, treated myself to a short break.
I visited Toby on friday to see how he was and was very upset to see him, his eyes were very glassy and his breathing very shallow. His gums were still quite pale too. I suggested they call the vet which they did and he was taken in again. He has had bloods taken but nothing obvious showing up. They hadnt taken xrays because they felt he was too traumatised, think he i8s having them done on tuesday.
Have called them just 5 minutes ago and he is apparently doing well and is much more lively today. Will just have to take each day as it comes until we know whats wrong.

Seems Toby has had some sort of infection. He is almost back to his old self but we have to go easy with him for now. Short 10-15 minute walks and slowly build it up.
Thanx for all the good wishes.

Toby very sick again. On friday I took him to the end of his street to do his business and he seemed to lose balance. Told his owner and he went back to the vet that day. He has been in and out of the vet all weekend, no one seems to know whats wrong with him. He is back in the vet this morning. Will let you know when I hear later today. Very worried about the old boy.

Just called to see how he is, he is still in the vets. He has had alot of pain meds, xrays, blood tests etc. They now think there is soomething at the base of his neck and his heart is enlarged. His owners are going to see him this evening and will update me after that but it's not looking good at all.:(
