I'm away from home on a residential training course - haven't seen my mob since Monday. I met the hotel cat yesterday and have since managed several clandestine meets for head scratches and purrs. Not sure Cleo, Smudge and Tolly would forgive me for this but I was getting feline withdrawal symptoms.
Oh dear, I am addicted to cats!

Awww! As they presumably don't have your log-in password to read this, I guess you're safe! How nice to meet a furry friend!

I never risk assuming anything with cats. Who knows who is really behind some of these user names......? I've long worried about the possibilies of feline online shopping and after a talk yesterday about the possibilies of web 2.0 and cloud computing I strongly recommend everyone keeps a firm eye on moggies near computers unless they want a bulk delivery of prawns!

We all all the same here. I dont often go out but did a few weeks ago to the local pub. I was a bit merry and i couldnt stop stroking to pub cat. I even went back the next night as well. Last saturday i went back and the landlady told me it was out there now as she was feeding it so i ran out and you guess i stroked it, it didnt like my OH though

ROTFL! :smt005: I have suspected for a long time that Ms Picky is in contact with some of the other cats here .... too many odd coincidences!

No wonder you needed the reassurance of stroking a friendly cat! Your residential course is obviously fairly heavy going.

It would have to be a reasonably well constructed cloud for me to be able to go cloud computing ...... but Kizzy could manage one of those little fluffy white ones I'm sure.

Aghhh, three hours of finance training coming up AND a presentation to prepare. Send emergency catnip- I need to find a cat to stroke.

I wanted to send you a photo of Pip or Kizzy, but photobucket is looking very ill atm (could have something to do with the Mozilla update yesterday though).

Sorry cats' staff - I'm sure you'll be fine. Don't forget to breathe!

If it's a tortie the liklihood is that puss is a girl (most torties are). She's a real poppet :D

Home on Friday. Apparantly Smudge is not happy at the reduction in staff numbers and is demanding extra fuss

LOL, poor Smudge! The staff simply isn't what it used to be...

Smudge probably thinks you're moonlighting. That's probably a reason for utmost disapproval. Poor Smudge! :-D :-D :-D

Home! I'm obviously in disgrace but am being allowed to fuss them so they may forgive me in time.

You're lucky, cat's staff - Merlin used to give me the cold shoulder for a day or two before he'd return to his normal self! Hope your course went well. Bet you are glad to be home!

Good point, and I always leave good temporary staff. Cleo is happy to see me and Tolly is snoring next to me on the sofa but Madam is miffed!

The course was good thanks, nice people, good sesions and lots to think about. I was lucky to get a place and lucky that work funded it- but yes I am VERY happy to be home!

CS, do you think Smudge is hoping to become the new Catsey Diva since dear Eva has gone to the Bridge?

cats' staff
26-03-2010, 10:03 PM
Well I always thought there were similarities but Eva was unique. Smudge has always been Madam Smudge- in fact the neighbours started calling her that with no prompting!

Madam likes her world 'just so' thank you very much!

dandysmom
26-03-2010, 10:18 PM
Oh, I like that! "Madam". Funny how neighbors pick up on things, one of mine always called Sultan the Emperor, because of his imperial bearing and attitude! You gotta love them!

Truth to tell, wouldn't we all like things "just so" if we had our druthers?
