We don't know exactly what happened today (Dylan wouldn't tell us:roll: ) but this evening he came in covered from head to tail in muddy water, small sticks and his paw had started bleeding :(

We've cleaned the water off him, got the sticks out of his fur and now he's relaxing on a towel on the settee. His paw's bleeding from one of his claws (front left paw, first or second claw after his dew claw I think)

He's daintily washing it every now and again, in between washing the rest of him. We know there's a feral black cat about but we don't know whether that one had anything to do with it or not.

Awww poor Dylan, i hope he's feeling better soon. Are there any ponds nearby that he could of fell into?

There's a beck nearby, we think he fell into it being chased by something :(

Poor Dylan is always into something! Hope his claw has stopped bleeding now and that he's getting extra fuss.

Coincidentaly Jerry came in last week with half his body wet from the middle to his tail. We think he probably fell into the brook at the back of our house.

We with indoor cats miss some of these exciting events! Although Patches did lose her balance once when drinking from the loo (strictly forbidden!) and fell in.... you never saw a wetter, more embarrassed cat!

I think it's now become a health issue tbh, because Dylan's breathing went quite erratic about 10pm, and he really did not like having his back legs touched at all, kept pulling away and crying :(

His breathing's got a lot better in the past hour but if his back legs are no better tomorrow a vet trip is in order :(
