Lost Cat Help Needed

Hi Guys,

(Welcome and I know I am a newbie and Welsh lol but I need help all the same)

Last night the door was left open (by a friend who I WILL be having words with) and Charlie my pure black cat bar one white hair on his chest ;) zoomed out. He is a house cat and only really goes out on his garden when we are there. He is microchipped but no collar. He is nervous, he was a rescue cat and I think what happened to him early on in life shaped that.

Anyway Saturday night he went well really sunday morning and he is still not back.

What should I do what do I need to do?

Already drawing up a poster on the PC and put his litter tray outside. Wife is in floods of tears and a member of the family here really has gone missing. The house seems quiet.........not nice!

Any help would be great.

Phone all the vets and rescues you can think of and go round asking all the neighbours if they've seen him ;)

Thanks for the reply. Neighbours have been done and asked but nothing. Spent most of today going round the streets but nothing. I just hope he didnt come back when we were out looking and then couldent get in and went again :(

So sorry to hear your cat has gone missing, I hope he'll soon find his way back to you.

Did you ask neighbours to check garages, sheds etc.

Don't despair, one of our members cat went missing for six weeks (!) )and was found.

Do you have a local newspaper and radio station you could put an ad on???

Hi guys well I haven't tried the food but there is many other cats on my estate might chomp it. But I will give it a go I have a radio show ready to give a shout for him rang the vets the RSPCA the cat sact and everywhere else I need to and the mircochip people I just sit and hope but I just don't want him to be forever gone. Even though he went Sunday morning is it still time to do the food? I checked this morning someones used his litter tray I hope it was him last nite and not other cat building my hopes up come back

I do hope you hear some positive news soon, or he returns home. There could be a possibilty that another cat will use the litter tray, but hopefully it will be your lost kitty.

Not yet but there are load of alloments down my road but locked by the counicl but my mum is driving down there to check today I put a million posters out shops pubs chemicsts post offices everywhere I can think of still no sight or sound kat my wife is gutted but got to look forward. Vets know and he is chipped

Try a humane Trap,cover it with a blanket,cats are curious by nature,use his favorite food,put it near where you last saw him. I used a trap to get my cat back inside,but I ended up getting her back in when SHE was ready..but try the trap and see what happens.
