thanks it means alot, im well chuffed i got him up so others can see him. Madly enough tonight he just came in with a slight limp, he,s jumping though so think he,ll be ok. Not like him to injure himself although his balance is pretty sketchy lol.

yes i,m glad ive put some up its been too long. As far as im aware from the vets records he was born may 2005. So he nearly 5 now and apparently fully grown by now if he,s a maine coon type cat. He does seem to of got bigger a bit lately.
Unfotunately he is limping more so today, he still going outside tho , i,ll keep an eye on him for a bit maybe take him into vets. I try looking at it n he swiping me so its tender bless him.

thanks for the comments guys . got me thinking i,ll try some action pics . He not in good shape at the moment and not playing obviously, he,s play is something to be seen!!! so he,s a bit depressed with it all limping n hobblin . Still, he,s out as i,m typing i,m waiting for him to come home . I have snow pics but there not great i had a bad back n tried a few ground pics n they didnt get all of him. shame. spk soon

Good luck with the action shots. Leia doesn't do "action" much, out of hundreds of pics I have one - ONE! - action shot and that was a fluke, she jumped down from the window as I was going to snap her sitting there and the camera caught it. I love her to bits but she is a couch potato, bless her.

He needs a friend i think , i,d like a kitten so boycey can have a soul mate some day he really seems interested in other cats. Boycey is very playfull n can be quite aggressive at times. I think its in his blood a little but also the previous owner for a fact i know was obviously aggressive with him . Whatever it is he is who he is n i cant change tht. He likes a ruff n tumble n play n does like biting but i,ve seen 2 similar cats on utube acting like this then licking n groomin in same session if u know wot i mean. same as boycey. Any advise on getting a 2nd cat/kitten with my kinda cat. ?

thankyou guys . no action pics for a while i,d say he limp is no better , down to the vets tuesday if not any better by tom. It think he,s landed funny n maybe broke or fractured summin, no marks or signs of cuts . Typical lol 3 yrs ive had him the day i post him up he injures himself lololol.
Well i,d say this thread is big enough now, think i did right not re posting new threads there woulda been too many of them. Next pics in new thread hopefully be all healed soon

Sorry to hear Boycey's limp is no better. Best to let the vet examine him. They do like to worry us though - I took Pip to the vet when he was just a young 'un and was limping. No sooner than he got to the vet but he was walking around the surgery, his limp had vanished! Let us know how he gets on please?!

my advice would be to take him to the vets asap, if he's weight bearing on the leg its unlikely to be broken (i think) but if its fractured he could be in a lot of pain. I believe Cats have a high pain threshold so the injury could be quite bad if you see what i mean

yes i know what ur saying. They can hide it all.
Maybe go down tom then as u say, he,s using it only very little though. i have seen him put it to the ground but seems to be unused the majority of the time. as i say he been sleepin it off. ahhhgggg i got a job tom been waitin to do for ages, tht can wait now tho i think.

Hi again its been too long .
Boycey and Tiggy are coping with the heat well but im not lol!!
Had Boycey at the Animal Health Trust centre near cambridge last yeah for an eye operation .
Things were not looking good for his left eye and got aedvised to remove it but instead had a referal and eventually made the choice to fix it.

Boy are them places very very good they have mended his eye and 'sown' or sutured it .
Should be going back for the 1 year check up , anyone else had similar experience with them?

I had no insurance for him It was awful as i thought I wouldnt be able to pay. They set me a plan and ive paid £2200 for the op.

Anyway hope to do a bit of catching up here again :)

Very cute I agree Tiggy was very young then and if you knew boyceys ways its an absolute treat that Tiggy has took to him. good friends now .
