First time I ever roasted a turkey. I was quite nervous but it turned out tasting great, so great that we are waddling because of how full we are.

It was almost 13 lbs!!! K's friend gave it to us for Xmas.
I've heard cooking it breast side down makes it more succulent and in fact it was.
Leftovers shall be sandwiches and maybe try a recipe for leftover turkey noodle soup (?)

You can make a lovely stock with the turkey carcass!
