I am planning to purchase something in the activity centre/cat tree line for Kizzy and Pip for C*******s - does anyone have experience of this company or this design (http://www.cattrees.co.uk/alicante-cat-tree-cat-activity-centre.html) and have any comments or recommendations to make?

Thanks Catsey aunts and uncles from Kizzy and Pip!

That looks fab. I got something similar from Zooplus. Haven't had any experience of that company though.

My boys have just had this as an early Christmas present :D

You need to host your pics in somewhere like Photobucket (free) first.......... this link will guide you through the process....

Hope the pics aren't too big :?

This is Murphy on the Cradle when I'd just set it up. It wasn't complete then. The rocking platform hadn't been attached.
Yes he loves it :D Paolo...not so much  but it's early days yet :D

Very nice. Lucky cats! I have a very similar one from Zooplus and mine use it all the time, one of the best things I have bought!

I like that! Lovely pics, thanks for sharing. Cats do love sitting in high places, don't they?

Thanks for those great pictures Oscarsmum! Your frame looks wonderful outside - perhaps a bit big for indoors? Hope your cats both get to love it - I expect they will.

I could of course have an outside frame too - but just for now an inside one will be perfect for them with winter around the corner.

it is very similar to the one I have angie, even down to the pawprints on it lol, only difference is I have 2 caves on mine. My 3 LOVE it. they spend all day lounging on it, climbing up it, chasing each other round it etc . They have had theirs for 2 years now, and it's still going strong :)

Yes it is an outdoor frame...not intended for indoor use (unless you live in a mansion :-D )
Paolo had a session on it today so it's a hit with both boys :D

Oh dear, I must have weird cats because when I had a similar cat tree not one of the fluffs even twitched a whisker in its direction.

It ended up going to CP as I'm sure they had plenty of kits who would enjoy it!

Angie, I look forward to seeing Kizzy and Pip enjoying their pressie :D , OM, that's a really cool cat tree!!

Never came across that site before - looks great. One bit of advice. I have had a few different style trees/platforms over the years. The problem I've had is if you have a boistrous/heavy cat and they take a leap on to it, the ones with only two supporting legs tend to start to bend over after a while - we had one that was very leaning tower of Pisa.

The one we have now has three legs and is much more stable.

Think I'd have a go at making one in the future - bet it would last much longer too.

Mine is about 3 years old and all I have done is replace the rope on it...
