He wandered into a woman kitchen last week, the day we had all tat rain, she has advertised him on the radio and in shops etc, but he has not been claimed, she was going to keep him, but her girl cat would not comne into the house with him there..He is about 10-12 weeks old, lovely nature, very confident...clean just a perfect kitten, I will have him a week to 10 days then he has a home to go to...He has met the dogs, who took one look and disappeared!!!they are scared of kittens!!!!

Maybe the woman whose kitchen he took shelter in from the rain, is the actual owner  And came up with the little story so that CP would pick him up right away????
I have heard many a put together story in my rescue time.
But anyway, its better they do that than 'dispose' of the little guy...

She lived in the middle of a town, up 4 flights of stairs...Even if she had said it was her kitten and it was not working out we would have taken him....
I have come across some real beautys in theway of storys too!!!

Mmmm fisher and fisher...
Though a made up story is the lesser of the two evils, than a kitten just dumped/ drowned.

I don't think she would have hurt him, she was very upset when we left and phoned the next day to see how he was...

I wasn't refering to this lady, I meant just in general.
Its better that people contact rescue centres with little white lies than dumping animals :D
If it makes it easier for people to do the right thing with a little white lie, then so be it!
