This looks like an adult, it has flaps at the side of its face, and opened them when I approached, the insides of them were bright red......

That's a brave lizard, I usually find they scamper away quickly when you get the camera out! :-D

Its amazing the things i have seen here, sure the locals think I am nuts taking pictures of lizards, find them fascinating...Saw what looked like our Robin today, but it was the size of our blackbirds...

Love the lizard. Amazing to have got photos Moli - they do move like a flash! A cute wee chap. Did someone say it was a sand lizard?

I have googled it and it seems it is a house gecko....
