New Sofas

My new sofas - they are so big in my little living room but I dont know if that is because I have got used to my living room empty!! Its only a small living room, but I love it. New wooden floor.. love my fireplace anyway, and the sofas finish it off I think.

What do you think?

(I have a unit that needs going into the alcove where the small stereo/wires are at the moment, and the floor trims that are in front of the fireplace need to be put round the edges of the floor and then it will be finished).

Sofas look great - I think you'll get use to the altered perception of space. And much comfier than sitting on the floor!

I had this fireplace put in (went Victorian as it is a Victorian house) shortly after I moved in... I love it so much I would be hard pushed to move and leave it behind!

Yes, it's a gorgeous fireplace Donna. Bet it looks lovely and snuggly with the fire going in the winter. Can't beat it.

Yes chocolate brown DM, and yes, the kids are growing up!! 17 and 15 now, and they appreciate a grown up living room to sit and chat and watch TV etc.. :D

I adore the traditional Victorian house, and you've created a lovely, calm and sophisticated space there with the leather sofas - and I don't think they look too large; just right! The fireplace is a charming focal point to the room. Do you use it when the weather gets cold?

Your new sofas are looking just great in your front room they don`t look to big at all, the colour and style of them really match your room.
The fireplace is gorgeous, I best not show my husband he would love to have a fireplace like that :lol: :lol: .

Yola - sofas are all material - the arms look kinda shiny but they are a sort of suede feel material.. and yes the fire is on a lot in the winter!

Thats a lovely room and what "snugeley" sofa's....like the "crowd" I adore your fireplace....I would love to have an opn fireplace - I love making up fires...and am good at keeping my kindling dry ;)
