Hiya Folks

Haven't been on and shared news and pics for a few months.....been busy with a new job!

Here are some pics taken tonight of Miw and Mousie on Night Duty Pest/Insect Patrol!

Mousie is doing wonderfully and is in very good health and her condition under control with meds! She's a little bundle of energy 22 hours a day!! :lol:

Hope everyone is doing well, and will look forward to catching up on all the news!!! :D

Great pic's. My cat loves to chase moths too and bees!!! even though I keep telling her that bees are not doing too well at the mo and she needs to look after them not kill them.

She's been to the vet today for a weight check because her weight dropped to below 3kg again and he was worried she may have developed sugar diabetes due to the steroids.....but she's gained it back again and is doing fine! :D

My two like the moths as well (and spiders! Ugh!), Miw's not crazy about bees and Mousie is a bit too clumsy to actually catch anything LOL so the bees are pretty safe at our house!

By the way, I love your quote thing about cats being worshipped by Gods 1000's of years ago! Our cat, Miw, is named after one of those Goddesses (Bast)......her name is Miw-Bast which is ancient Egyptian for "Cat of Bast". And she KNOWS it LOL!

Tina ~ I think it's fantastic that you've named one of your cats after Bast! A very interesting Goddess!

I just love it when cats sometimes do what I call 'The Bast Pose'. I have this theory that that particular pose is in all cats dating from back to when they were worshipped as gods by the Egyptians.
