Lovely! I do love the humblebums! Rescued a huge one from the greenhouse a couple of nights ago.

Well caught photo Eileen.

Great photo Eileen he's lovely, I like bumblebees, from a distance, lol.

I was even super brave enough a couple weeks ago and saved one from drowning in the dog's paddling pool, I fished it out on my shoe! I was screaming the whole time, I have a stupid fear of anything buzzy that flies but even so, I can never see any creature suffer. I often stop and pick up worms from the path and put them on the grass to save them being trod on or drying up in the sun. Everyone thinks im a bit mental, I suppose I am really.

Well done random for saving that bee from drowning.

I have this theory that we should all do an act of kindness for as many different species as we can. I've rescued bees from the road and from the slippery insides of tulips. I even rescued a hornet once, I found that scary! So well done for overcoming your own fear to save the creature. And well done for rescuing the worms too - I always loved that bit in Seven Years in Tibet when the monks had to rescue the worms during building the Dali Lama's new cinema!!!

If you're mental, then I am too .. I've fished out a wasp from the lily pond although I fear their stings, and have also moved worms from the sidewalk where the poor things were drying out.......hopefully, good karma if we come back ???

Thanks! Just lucked out; I only have a simple point-and-shoot Nikon L2, but managed to get this one, fortunately! :D
