It's just starting to bloom. I'd never guess this was a member of the impatiens family, as neither the foliage nor the flower shape resemble the common or New Guinea impatiens. But isn't it a lovely blue?

†he bloom has a long spur like a larkspur or cranesbill.

Fabulous - blue is also my favourite flower colour.

Also love the pot it is in.

What a pretty flower - it really doesn't look like the traditional bizzy lizzy or the New Guinea variety does it. It reminds me of some other plant, but I can't think what atm. Lovely colour.

I hope it's as easy to reproduce by cuttings as the common ones...will try later when it's a bit bigger!
