This is a new Iris I bought earlier this Spring. It is called Kent Pride.

I am glad that I put it on the little Juliet balcony near our back door because it is much taller than I expected and it is well supported and protected where it is.

Thanks Eileen - the gravel area is new this season - that's where our Anniversary garden furniture will go - eta Friday if we're lucky. The pergola colour is the one that OH picked successfully I think. :lol:

Oooh, I love iris, at some point (if I ever get the chance) I would love to have a collection.
That one is such a beauitful colour.

The Irish is Beautiful and the whoe vista looks good Angie... you're right.. OH did pick the right colour ... it will only be enhanced by the arrival of your new furniture... can't wait to see pics

I clicked for this post from New Posts possibly anticipating seeing a beautiful long-haired dog (Bearded Collie, or, commonly, Beardie)
I was suprised at the flower but it is a beauty. There's something about the iris structure which is very attractive, isn't there? I've got some miniature standard blue and yellow which are early bloomers and always give me a Spring lift.
