Well the weather is not great here today so I thought I would do some domestic chores as I couldn't get to the allotment. It didn't quite go to plan

First job- get clean linen from the airing cupboard. I opened the door to be met by an indignant 'miaow'

Do you mind- I'm snoozing here!

I quietly took some bed linen and went into the bedroom where I realised that I may have to delay changing the duvet cover for quite some time

Well one can't disturb a sleeping Smudge!

Never mind, thought I, I'll go and vacuum the living room. Hmmmm, would you have risked waking his nibs up?

You see I'm not a slob honest! I'm just thwarted at every turn. I had a cup of tea and ate some chocolate instead but it wasn't my fault!

No, no, no. Of course you couldn't disturb those sleeping beauties - chocolate wins hands down - every time ;) . . . oh, and allotment?? You kept that quiet!

You did absolutely the right thing. It's rare to get such good sensitive staff these days, I'm sure!

Loved those pics! Only a heartless person would disturb your trio of sleeping beauties! You are indeed well trained! :-D

I'm glad you all agree I couldn't POSSIBLY have disturbed them by doing housework around them!

Yola, yes, I'm lucky I have an allotment just across the road. I'm not so lucky that it is Cambridgeshire clay- digging is hard work and I've mostly got raised beds!

LOL!!! I love your allotment there . . . my raised beds are more due to my obsession over order and the need for an organized space than soil . . . although across our allotment the soil moves from lovely soft loam to quite heavy clay - within the space of 10M!!!

And hey - Karen; my life ain't all that good - although it probably would be if I look anything like Felicity Kendall ;)
