Google. Used to use Ask Jeeves years ago because it came on the computer; friend told me to use Google because it was better. Did and it is. Tried Yahoo a few times, results not as good.

I've always used Google too. I guess it's something that you get used to doing. Did you know that to 'google' has now become an offical verb :)? Like, to 'hoover' its brand name is synonymous with the activity.

I think Google has virtually cornered the market now.
It's nice to see that Ask has brought back jeeves - I always thought it wa sa mistake to get rid of him
I'll sometimes use a different engine if Google doesn't seem to be finding what i want but usually you just have to change your search parameters a bit

Thank you guys, just so I knwo where to put my website by which engines are mostly used, of course it is already waiting in the wings of Google and is already on Yahoo, will look into Jeeves too. I use Google myself.

I use Yahoo on principle because I don't like the market control Google has. However if I can't find what I'm (I@m) looking for I'll switch to Google.

HOWEVER - we stopped advertising our business on Yahoo some while ago because it there were zero results whereas Google generated a lot of enquiries.

Just out of curiousity, is your business consumer or b2b focused?

Google, coz it looks nicer than all the others and is easy, also I like it for google maps as well.

If it's consumer I would spread it a bit broader . . . obviously Google's the primary channel but there are more sub-engines that might be of value + obviously directories that are picked up by the major search engines.
