Last night Dylan spent most of the time charging around after invisible mice

He was only playing though ;) and I can forgive him anything :D

Lol, he's obviously recovered from his session with the rat!

We've decided that we'll keep him as an indoor cat, taking him outside accompanied so he can wander around.

I think that's great! Not sure how Dylan will feel abut it, however.....

It will keep him out of danger if he can stand it (and you can stand him standing it - staying indoors I mean!!!)

He knows he has to stay indoors ;) He asks us to go out when he says it's time to go walkies and he likes the harness :-D

It's wonderful that he took to his harness so well. As you said, he probably wore one before you had him. So he'll still be able to go out, albeit supervised which is kinda nice for you both.

good that he is ok with his harness - an no more nasty rat bites for him.
