Has anyone come across or used Verm-X (http://www.wormersdirect.co.uk/pet-herbalpet-vermxcat.asp)? It's a 'treat' which contains anti-worm herbs etc.
I'd never heard of it but came across it at our local farm supply store. If it works it is a nice way to keep our hunters worm free. It's certainly palatable - Bentley wolfed down his yeaterday and today's 'dose'.
Do you think the claims are feasible?
btw - I didn't pay the price in the link, more like half that.

How interesting DM ...... how EXPENSIVE!! I have not heard of it before and would be interested if anyone has heard about it, especially anyone with veterinary experience ...... pinklizzy for example.

Mine were £4 something for two-month's worth - 50p a week.
Expensive enough but a more pleasant way of treating these things (if they work) than the sledgehammer of the chemical things.

Yes, certainly. I presume you have to dose every day - and not forget!

I haven't heard of them either - would be interesting to hear if anyone knows of them and their effectiveness.

They sound interesting and you can also buy Verm-X here (http://www.vetuk.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=17_200&products_id=1868) ...

I'd love to hear from someone who's tried these and what they think. They sound almost too good to be true. Who wouldn't avoid harsh chemicals in favor of natural?

I've found the direct site for Verm-x (http://www.verm-x.com/). You'll see they offer treatment for all sorts of creatures, from cage birds to carthorses, via alpaca and pigs! Lots of favourable reviews, including some with documentary evidence of effectiveness via worm analysis of ..... well, you know what, from horses.
I've got 2 months worth of treatment now, I think I'll continue with it after I've finished this lot, unless and until there's any evidence that it's not working.

I haven't tried for cats, but I've just bought a tub to try on the chickens and ducks, the best bit about it being that you can continue to eat the eggs.;)
