homemade anti scratch spray

Does anyone know what i could spray on the carpet to stop tinkerbell scratching it. She has ripped a large whole in the carpet and regardless of how ofen shes told off she carries on.

Is there a home made spray i could use or a really good one i could buy? She has a scratch post which she uses, she just likes my carpet aswell.
Will be putting laminate down in the next few months but need a remedy for the meantime.

Try double sided sticky tape on the carpet
