I am again able to run,
just as I did once.
I am able to smell the garden grass,
while feeling the sun.
I am warm at night in my favourite spot,
in bed, next to you.
I can jump and reach anywhere,
even those places I should not dare!
I know you’d get upset…
Am able to play with you,
tiring you up.
I keep eating my tuna,
but with no medicine,
and get my treats, while you’re asleep.
In your dreams, you see me,
and I get my cuddles,
while you groom my black & white muddle!
I am still with you,
now free of pain,
and in a hidden place,
where I’ll take you one day.
