Hand-held gaming console Eileen. I have bought one for Dominik for Christmas. Am I mad . . . he's only 5???

I haven't got him the brain-train thing though. I might sneak that in for myself and have a go when he's in bed and not playing batman, lego or wall.e

I just have to add, he brought home a 'santa' list the other night and on it he'd written 'dear Santa I would very much like a Nintendo D.S. (his dots) . . . how could a mother refuse that LOL!!!

Where do they learn about these things?? My phone did it's sonar bleep thing the other day and he said 'Mummy, you've got a text message'   And it's not something I'd ever told him about!!!

My eldest has had her DS for a couple of years now, and Hayley is getting a pink one from santa  She also did the Christmas list thing Yola, she wanted that and 'The Simpsons' game and 'suite life of Zack and Cody' but I have also got her the Wall:e game as well. Been trying to talk Raechel into brain training, but it's not cool enough apparently

A few weeks ago Katie and some other children from her school were interviewed on the local radio about what they would like for Christmas. Katie said "I would really love a Nintendo DS but I don't expect I will get one as they are very expensive". The programme presenter was talking with another guy straight after and said they couldn't believe how the 8 year old realised she may not get the present she liked because of the price. He also said you don't hear many children saying that these days. I was quite proud of her..:D

Anyway guess what Katie and Jamie (6) are getting from Santa this Christmas?!! ;)

Oh how exciting!!! Are they getting DS's too???

I feel really mean coz all Dominik's friends seem to have them so I thought I'd better redress the fact he doesn't!

Yep Yola, they are both getting DS's too  As you say all their school chums seem to have them already and they may feel a bit left behind without one...
