Does anyone from the depths of their memory recall my £1 a day (roughly) tin I spoke of start of the year?

Yes right well I have opened mine well they became 4 tins eventualy but only opened 3 as the other is almost empty and I found...........
3 lids from glass bottles of coke...http://www.*********forum.co.uk/images/default/sml_wnk.png
A £10 note I put a lucky dip win of £10 in it.
And £503.86 more copper than I though but hey it all counts look after the pennies etc.
I am starting next years now.

Well done Kazz, it just goes to show how a few odd coins can mount up by the end of the year. An excellent way of saving as you don't miss a few coins a day...:D

Excellent - well done. I have a large whisky bottle with coins in and it's almost full. Perhaps I'll have to start counting!?

........ and that's given me a thought too .............

I think im gonna start doing that!
I do have a money box which I invade quite alot! Ive even had those tin ones you have got and I still managed to get into them without using a tin opener.... I got some old tweezers and got the money out through the slit...
