He just loves the new bed we bought for him last week as you can see!

He's very like our first ever cat - Sissons, originally Spider - who we must have got about 36 years ago!
So I like him and he looks very contented.

If you think he won't go in the carrier easily just put it on its end, pick up Jack and drape him in, tail and back legs first. By the time he realises what's going on, he'll be in and you'll have shut the door. Just turn it right way up slowly and carefully and he'll shift his position.

What a lovely boy Jack is ......he looks very contented in his new bed too...:D

I agree with DM, put him in the carrier back legs first, he'll be safely in it before he realises what has happened. If he is like most cats when they visit the vet, you will have no problem getting him back in it to go home....... he may willingly jump into it of his own accord!;)

Well done on getting the photo on here!;)

I don't agree with DM and Mags; always upended the carrier and put cat in face forward! If I did back legs first he was out in a flash before I could close the door and right it.

Jack's a handsome boy, I missed his story also so off to read it.

Morning all,

well trip to vets went well, he's such a placid little darling and the tip about standing the carrier on it end worked a treat straight in no problems and same when we left the vets:lol: they tell me he's only about 3 years old for some reason i thought he'd be older than that poor little mite.

i'm planning on doing a page for his story as there as been developments and im not sure whether we are going to be able to keep him ill let you know when i know the outcome.

It's all to do with his microchip. but I was led to belive that he had been left behind and the eldery lady had taken him in. sorry its all very criptic but i dont what to go into too much detail until i know my self:(
