What is the earliest I can get my male castrated?

The earliest your vet is happy to do it, I guess?

But seriously, I think 6 months is the usual. Some welfare places are doing kittens before they send them off to their new homes, so that is much earlier.

There are arguments for and against early neutering, and if I can find them easily I'll add an edit to previous discussion

Edit: Here's (http://www.catsey.com/showthread.php?t=13043) the thread. It's from over 2 years ago .... I really must get out more!)

Any boys I've had were done at 6 months. (Only my first was done later, poor student, didn't know any better, but he was a house cat.)

I know some vets will happily do from 4 months.

We usually do male cats at 5-6 months, depending on how big they are!
The small pom-poms can be more fiddly to remove ;) although we do sometimes have farm cats in at 4 months.
