View Full Version : Smudgley rescue cats ~ Socks
3 male cats came in together as their owner is expecting a baby.
This one is Socks.
18mths old long haired B&W male.
{We really don't think he is actually 18mths old}
if anyone is interested in offering Socks a home, call the rehoming line on 0844 884 8514.

Handsome. Not for me to judge but why would expecting a baby want you to part with your cats? :( I don't undestand it, but then I don't have the full story.

Poor poor boys - what a way to learn to trust people. Socks is a lovely looking lad.

B&W is always smart
Having a baby seems a very lame excuse for getting rid of your cats you've only had for a year or so.
Hope she doesn't tire of this baby if she finds herself expecting another in a year or two's time. :roll: That's the equivalent. :evil:
Lovely boy, will he return to his home later?

No - he needs a home.
He is older than 18months though

not backing the people up but my sister has just had a baby and was told not to be around cats for the pregnancy and first few months of the babys life.
Still a lame excuse!

hmmmm - I've just had a quick google and I can now understand why the lady has given up her cats.

This is scarey stuff and obviously she wouldn't want to risk any harm to her unborn child.
Not sure whether the risks are being over dramatised - but I can appreciate her point of view now.
